image As I promised to you on the previous article titled Sending your Twitter messages with twitbin that I will inform you how to put your blog feed into twitter. But before that, what is the advantage of placing the blog feed into twitter? The main advantage is that your blog articles will automatically be sent to your twitter messages. However, not all content of the articles will be sent, but only the title or the top paragraph including the link to your post (appropriated with your setting), and of course this is a blog promotion because your twitter followers will know the newest update of your blog.
In order to send blog feed to twitter, you can use the service of twitterfeed.com. The ways are easy to do. You just need an OpenID account. This OpenID, you can use the URL address of your blog in blogger or sign up first at : https://myvidoop.com/register.
Below are the steps for the setting in twitterfeed:
1. Please visit the site at http://twitterfeed.com
2. Click Login/register on the top-right of your monitor
3. Please login with your OpenID
4. Click Go To My twitter feeds (or create a new one)
5. Click Create new twitter feed

There are several boxes you should fill in:
1. Username: fill with username of your twitter account
2. Password: Fill with your twitter password
3. RSS Feed URL: Fill with you blog URL includes /atom.xml. Example: http://contoh-refresh.blogspot.com/atom.xml
4. Update frequency: Fill with your selection (or leave it as Every hour)
5. Post up to: Choose some posts you want to display (or leave as 5)
6. Include…: Choose title & description if you want to display the article consist of title and description, or you may choose another one.
7. Shorten link through: Choose the link shorten service (or leave as TinyURL)
8. Post new items based on: leave it as pubDate

Prefix each tweet with: you may leave as blank
7. Click Create button
8. Finished
Now, your blog feed will be automatically sent to twitter, and of course, your twitter followers will know soon the newest update of your blog. So, do not forget to be my follower in twitter in order to get the latest news from this blog.
